Just my opinion, but I don't know that there ever was an option for a major version upgrade for free. Me? I don't need them, especially if I have to pay. BI 4 does way more than I need it to, and so you have to ask yourself if you need the new features. I have version 4 too, and soon after, version 5 was released. How long past the deadline do you think is fair for them to make an exception? A month later than the deadline? 6 months? What would be fair?
